Cette pratique est souvent utilis\u00e9e afin\u00a0<strong>d\u2019obtenir de l\u2019argent<\/strong>\u00a0pour effectuer des\u00a0<strong>r\u00e9novations<\/strong>\u00a0ou m\u00eame pour\u00a0<strong>payer des dettes<\/strong>. Par exemple, on peut d\u00e9cider d\u2019ajouter 50 000$ \u00e0 son hypoth\u00e8que de 100 000$ et ainsi d\u2019avoir une nouvelle hypoth\u00e8que de 150 000$. Le\u00a0<strong>processus<\/strong>\u00a0de\u00a0<strong>refinancement<\/strong>\u00a0est plus long qu\u2019un simple renouvellement, car il y a de la nouvelle\u00a0<strong>documentation<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e0 se procurer. En effet, alors qu\u2019un renouvellement ne n\u00e9cessite qu&#8217;une signature, le refinancement demande un\u00a0<strong>plan d\u2019action<\/strong>\u00a0plus complet.
